Another piece of statuary from the State Fairgrounds in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
What always makes me laugh about this little guy (besides that cute curly tail and the curled ears) is that it is parked in front of the horse barn. I think to myself that the person who erected it was confused about horses and pigs. 🙂
I’ve decided to start a new mobile project.
I live within walking distance of the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, and I pass through them at least three times a week on my way to teach classes on the Saint Paul campus of the University of Minnesota.
As I’ve been driving through, I started to notice how many statues are placed around the fairgrounds. There are many, of different types, spread throughout. And they are fun.
I’m shooting with my Galaxy Nexus, then playing with them (processing) in the new Mac version of Snapseed (by Nik). I don’t typically post-process my mobile photos, but I want to play with Snapseed, so there you go.
